1.Elephants live in herds formed by groups of females and calves.They have a matrialcal society where females are in charge of calves.

They are here since prehistoric times.Theur ancestor was the Mammoth.

They are very useful for the ecosystem and environment since ,with their dung they help bird and plant reproduction which does not happen otherwise.
